Job Requirements
- Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor, smiling frequently
- Be available to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, and/or weekends
- Effectively function in a lively, fast-paced environment with potential noise and distractions
- Communicate clearly and concisely in both written and verbal forms
- Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds
- Move throughout the facility and remain standing for extended periods as needed to oversee events
- Frequently walk or stand for the majority of your shift during event execution
- Reach, bend, stoop, and perform light cleaning tasks as necessary to ensure event areas are presentable
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in event planning or coordination
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Proficiency with event management software or tools (preferred)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping capabilities
Job Duties
- Conceptualize, plan, and execute a variety of events including birthday celebrations, corporate gatherings, team-building activities, and social events
- Serve as the primary point of contact for event inquiries and client communication
- Collaborate with food and beverage, gaming, and operations teams to coordinate event logistics
- Develop detailed event proposals, contracts, and timelines, managing budgets effectively
- Oversee event setup and teardown ensuring proper configuration and resource availability
- Proactively resolve any issues or challenges during events
- Maintain meticulous records of event details, guest interactions, and financial transactions
- Stay informed about Dave & Buster's offerings, promotions, and event packages
- Seek opportunities to enhance the event experience and identify potential repeat business
- Uphold a positive and professional demeanor at all times
- Assist team members and contribute to a collaborative work environment
