Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in event planning and coordination
- Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in event management software and MS Office Suite
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage budgets
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Marketing, or related field is a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in event planning and coordination preferably within the hospitality industry
- Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously from conception to completion
- Strong understanding of event logistics, vendor management, and budgeting
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and vendors
- Proficiency in event management software and MS Office Suite
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules
- A passion for creating exceptional guest experiences
Job Duties
- Plan, coordinate, and manage all types of events including corporate functions, banquets, conferences, and social gatherings
- Develop event concepts, themes, and agendas in collaboration with stakeholders
- Create detailed event budgets and manage expenses to ensure profitability and adherence to financial targets
- Source, negotiate with, and manage relationships with vendors including caterers, venues, decorators, and entertainment providers
- Oversee event logistics including venue setup, seating arrangements, AV equipment, and transportation
- Develop event timelines and ensure all activities are completed on schedule
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and staff during event planning and execution
- Manage on-site event operations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction
- Coordinate staffing needs for events including hiring and training temporary staff as required
- Develop post-event reports including financial reconciliation, performance analysis, and client feedback summaries
- Ensure all events comply with safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain event-related documentation and databases
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the event experience and client satisfaction
