Job Requirements
- High school degree required
- previous hotel, catering and/or Delphi experience preferred
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends, nights and holidays
- strong customer service skills
- effective communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- proficiency in Microsoft Office
- capability to handle unexpected situations calmly
- willingness to assist with special projects
Job Qualifications
- Experience in a hotel is preferred
- highly developed customer service skills
- effective business writing and presentation skills
- ability to work with clients to determine and anticipate needs of the event
- ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
- ability to remain calm under pressure and deal with unexpected situations
- previous hotel, catering and/or Delphi experience preferred
- high school degree required
- Hilton operating system and Delphi experience preferred
- working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Job Duties
- Assist Event Manager during planning and execution of banquet events
- maintain filing systems according to SOP
- establish rapport with banquet clients and function as liaison
- complete and distribute Banquet Event Orders, diagrams, and group resumes
- execute special projects assigned by Director of Sales and Event Manager
