Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- retail or customer service experience
- experience working with children and managing children’s events
- excellent communication skills
- strong organizational skills
- ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others
- physical ability to stand for long periods and perform manual tasks such as bending, lifting, and stretching
- capability to safely use ladders or equipment to access high shelves
- willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
- compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements for employment
- ability to provide reasonable accommodations if necessary

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- engage clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
- demonstrate and instruct craft projects and perform activities such as face painting
- facilitate party add-ons like goody bags and balloons
- communicate event details with clients and store team members
- complete administrative tasks including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
- adjust event plans based on client feedback and develop backup plans
- ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards before and after events
- assist customers with locating products and provide shopping solutions
- provide fast and friendly checkout experiences
- promote and enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
- educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
- assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes
- participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes
- complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
- perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
- support shrink and safety programs
- adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
- maintain positive and respectful interactions
- cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production
- participate in daily store cleanliness including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and restroom maintenance
- perform other duties as assigned
