Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a hotel or event venue setting is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic event diagramming software (Social Tables or similar) is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility in schedule, including the potential for evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Assist sales team in planning, detailing, and executing both corporate and social events
  • Provide support with event data entry and coordination using Microsoft Office and other systems, including event orders, invoices, contracts, and schedules
  • Gain hands-on experience in managing multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Contribute to the strategic planning of events to ensure smooth operations, timely execution, and food quality
  • Assist in upselling services and products to clients during event detailing
  • Serve as an onsite point of contact for guests and the banquet team during events
  • Participate in daily morning sales meetings, gaining insight into event strategy and team collaboration
