Churchill Downs Racetrack (CDRT) is one of the most iconic and historic sports venues in the United States. Known worldwide as the home of The Kentucky Derby, the longest continually held annual sporting event since 1875, CDRT sits on 175 acres in Louisville, Kentucky. Job Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Ability to work varied and long shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Prior experience in entertainment, sports, or similar environment preferred
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle guest issues diplomatically
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 20 pounds, and perform event setups
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software

Job Duties
- Communicating event details to necessary departments
- Creating custom banquet event orders and room diagrams
- Evaluating and resolving guest issues related to pricing, overcrowding, dress code, tickets, and seating
- Assisting and facilitating events booked by group sales, marketing, premium ticketing, and community relations
- Confirming event details with sales team and customers
- Promoting exceptional customer service
- Addressing and resolving guest complaints
- Completing clerical and administrative tasks
- Performing light physical work for event setup, including extensive walking
- Coordinating paddock tours and trophy presentations
