Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children and in event planning or coordination
- Retail or customer service experience
- Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store
- Ability to lift heavy boxes and safely use ladders
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism
- Must comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements for employment
- Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings as required
- Ability to work in a public retail environment
- Must be able to participate in the interactive process for accommodations if needed

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and other craft classes or events
- Engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
- Demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects, face painting and other activities
- Facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags, balloons, etc. to company standards
- Communicate events with clients and store team members
- Complete administrative tasks such as answering emails, making phone calls, and paperwork
- Adjust plans and events based on client’s feedback and needs
- Create backup or emergency plans for events
- Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
- Uphold the company’s cleanliness and safety standards with setup and cleanup before and after events
- Help customers shop and locate products
- Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
- Engage customers on benefits of rewards programs and credit cards
- Educate customers on Voice of Customer surveys
- Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes
- Participate in truck unload, stocking and planogram processes
- Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
- Perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
- Support shrink and safety programs
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
- Remain positive and respectful, promoting the organization’s vision and values
- Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
- Participate in daily store cleanliness activities including sweeping, vacuuming, and maintaining restrooms
- Perform other duties as assigned
