Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant field
- minimum of 2 years experience in event coordination or management
- strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- proficiency in event management software
- ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- willingness to work non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends
- ability to travel as needed
Job Qualifications
- bachelor's degree in event management hospitality marketing or a related field
- proven experience in event planning or coordination preferably in a corporate setting
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple events simultaneously
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality
- proficiency in using event management software and microsoft office suite
- flexibility to work evenings weekends and travel as required for event execution
Job Duties
- plan and coordinate logistics for various events including corporate meetings conferences and social gatherings
- manage budgets and ensure adherence to financial guidelines for each event
- collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and objectives for the event
- select and negotiate with vendors for services such as catering decoration and audiovisual equipment
- create and manage event timelines and checklists to ensure timely completion of all necessary tasks
