Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in events coordination or related hospitality roles
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Proficiency with event management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Job Duties

  • Redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while supporting and promoting company values
  • Performing responsibilities in accordance with all company standards, policies, and procedures
  • Ensuring all promotions and events are communicated property-wide via MOD updates, individual department updates, BEO updates, and department meeting agendas
  • Maintaining and building relationships with internal and external departments, agencies, and vendors
  • Conceptualizing special events and promotions including vision board creation and supply ordering
  • Ensuring all special event and promotional rules are written and properly submitted by due dates
  • Assisting with gift sourcing and purchasing
  • Managing marketing inventory upon arrival, post-event, and for ongoing storage needs
  • Securing accommodation and transportation for vendors and entertainment
  • Assisting with other department events such as entertainment and promotions
  • Securing invoices post-event as needed
