Job Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods

- capability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly
- capacity to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves safely using ladders or equipment
- willingness to work in a public retail environment with climate-controlled areas and some outdoor tasks

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous retail or customer service experience
- experience working with children and managing children’s events
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills including written, verbal, and nonverbal
- strong organizational skills and creative problem-solving abilities
- ability to handle job stress and maintain positive interactions
- energetic and enthusiastic personality
- familiarity with retail operations and promotional programs
Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- engage clients by fostering a fun and creative environment
- demonstrate and instruct craft projects and activities including face painting
- facilitate party add-ons according to company standards
- communicate event details with clients and team members
- perform administrative tasks such as responding to emails and managing schedules
- adjust event plans based on client feedback and needs
- create and execute backup plans as necessary
- ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
- uphold cleanliness and safety standards before and after events
- assist customers with shopping and locating products
- provide fast and friendly checkout experience
- promote the rewards program and credit card enrollments
- educate customers on the Voice of Customer survey
- support omni-channel services including BOPIS and Ship From Store
- participate in merchandise stocking, planogram processes, and store recovery
- perform Store in Stock Optimization and merchandising duties
- support shrink and safety programs
- adhere to company policies and standard operating procedures
- maintain positive and respectful interactions with customers and teammates
- cross-train in custom framing sales and production
- contribute to daily store cleanliness activities
