Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods
  • Ability to move throughout the store
  • Ability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements to work in the U.S.
  • Willingness to perform varied tasks including truck unloading and merchandise duties
  • Customer service orientation

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children's birthday parties and other craft classes or events
  • Engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
  • Demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and perform activities like face painting
  • Facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons to company standards
  • Communicate events with clients and store team members
  • Complete administrative tasks including answering emails, making phone calls, and paperwork
  • Adjust plans and create backup or emergency plans based on client feedback
  • Ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards by setting up and breaking down events
  • Help customers shop and locate products, provide solutions and customer education on rewards and credit cards
  • Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • Assist with omni-channel processes including buy online pick up in store and ship from store
  • Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes
  • Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
  • Perform store in stock optimization and ad set duties
  • Support shrink and safety programs
  • Cross trained in custom framing selling and production
  • Participate in daily store cleanliness activities including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and restroom maintenance
