Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from four-year university
  • 1 to 2 years related experience and or training
  • or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Working knowledge of principles of facility management, services, and equipment for a similar facility
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and general office equipment
  • Demonstrated organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • ability to work effectively under pressure and or stringent schedules
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and interact with all levels of staff and clients

Job Qualifications

  • Demonstrated AutoCAD proficiency strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and general office equipment

Job Duties

  • Meet with clients and or their liaison(s) to plan and organize event logistics
  • Coordinate activities with various service contractors for events
  • Guide clients in preparation of events by interpreting and explaining contract provisions, policies, and procedures
  • Keep clients informed as to status of deadline schedules including floor plan submissions, meeting room set-up specifications, insurance requirements and other relevant details
  • Make check requests and event related purchases
  • Provide clear, concise, and timely communications of detailed requirements to the appropriate Operations personnel
  • Assist in scheduling operational set-ups to provide equipment or service needs and monitor and supervise facility set-up
  • Serve as primary liaison between clients and facility departments
  • Monitor in-house events maintaining close contact with clients and facility staff to ensure successful events and follow up on all client requests, concerns, and problems
  • Attend appropriate planning, organization and other event and facility meetings in support of facility operations
