Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
  • Ability to work 15-25 hours per week
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday during daylight hours
  • Capacity for both remote and on-campus work as needed
  • Willingness to undergo a background check
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience and/or background in event management, logistics, or communications
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency in coordinating with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience with email management and event logistic tools preferred
  • Effective problem-solving and time management abilities

Job Duties

  • Managing graduate registration and waitlist and communicating with approximately 150 students
  • Overseeing email communications via the departmental eceevent account
  • Coordinating with the Marketing team for pamphlets and tickets
  • Collecting and compiling graduates’ presentation slides into a single slideshow
  • Liaising with venue, catering, and AV teams including livestream support
  • Preparing seating charts and seat numbers, distributing tickets, and coordinating signage
  • Managing volunteers for setup, registration, and ushering on the event day
