Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to lift and carry heavy boxes
  • good communication skills
  • experience in retail or customer service
  • ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • ability to operate ladders safely
  • ability to move throughout store
  • ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and stretching

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children's birthday parties and craft classes
  • engage with clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
  • demonstrate and instruct craft projects and conduct activities such as face painting
  • facilitate party add-ons to company standards
  • communicate event details with clients and team members
  • complete administrative duties including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
  • adjust event plans based on client feedback
  • create backup or emergency plans
  • ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
  • uphold cleanliness and safety standards before and after events
  • help customers shop and locate products
  • provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • engage customers in Rewards program and credit card enrollments
  • educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
  • assist with omni-channel processes including BOPIS and Ship From Store
  • participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes
  • maintain merchandise recovery and store cleanliness
  • support shrink and safety programs
  • adhere to company policies and procedures
  • promote a positive and respectful workplace
  • cross train in custom framing selling and production
  • participate in daily cleaning activities
