- Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
- refined verbal and written communication skills
- proficiency in general computer knowledge
- a four-year hospitality degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 18 months hotel experience preferred
- geographically mobile

Job Duties
- Service events efficiently
- work closely with Sales and Event Sales and Planning Managers
- assist with administrative duties
- negotiate contracts
- service banquet food, beverage, and setup
- plan menus and set event agendas
- coordinate hotel meeting services and hospitality amenities
- handle special VIP requests
- review contracts and facilitate communication with hotel staff
- assist in hosting site inspections
- participate or lead event and staff meetings
- demonstrate initiative and problem solving
