Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in hospitality or event coordination
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • attention to detail
  • proficiency with event management software
  • availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • experience in event coordination or related hospitality roles
  • strong organizational and communication skills
  • ability to negotiate contracts
  • proficiency in planning banquet food and beverage

Job Duties

  • service events
  • work closely with sales and event sales and planning managers in administrative duties
  • handle contract negotiations
  • service accounts
  • coordinate banquet food, beverage, and setup including menu planning and agenda setting
  • manage hotel meeting services and hospitality amenities
  • handle special VIP requests
  • review contracts
  • facilitate communication before, during and after events with hotel staff
  • assist in hosting site inspections
  • participate and/or lead event meetings and staff meetings
