Job Requirements

  • proficient in general computer knowledge
  • four-year hospitality degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 18 months hotel experience preferred
  • strong analytical skills

Job Duties

  • service events
  • collaborate with sales, event sales and planning managers on administrative duties
  • negotiate and review contracts
  • service banquet food, beverage, and setup including menu planning and agenda setting
  • provide hotel meeting services and hospitality amenities
  • handle special VIP requests
  • facilitate communication before, during, and post event with hotel staff
  • assist in hosting site inspections
  • participate and lead event and staff meetings
  • demonstrate initiative and problem solving
