Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years proven experience in event planning or coordination
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Willingness to work in-person at the New Orleans office
  • Availability Monday to Friday

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field
  • Proven experience in event planning or coordination, preferably 2+ years
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Job Duties

  • Plan and execute a variety of events including corporate meetings, conferences, and social gatherings
  • Collaborate with clients to determine objectives and budget requirements for each event
  • Research and recommend venues, vendors, and entertainment options based on client needs
  • Oversee logistics for events including catering, audio/visual setup, and transportation arrangements
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and ensure compliance with all service agreements
  • Evaluate events post-completion to assess success and areas for improvement
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure all event components are aligned and executed smoothly
