Job Requirements
- Must have experience working with children and children’s events
- Must have good communication skills including written, verbal, and nonverbal communication as well as listening skills
- Must have organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and creative problem-solving skills
- Retail and/or customer service experience required
- Ability to remain standing for long periods
- Ability to move throughout the store
- Capable of regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
- Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using ladders or similar equipment
- Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with coworkers and guests
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
- Must adhere to company policies and safety standards
- Capable of working in a public retail store setting
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety before and after events

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- Engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
- Demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and activities such as face painting
- Facilitate party add-ons including goody bags and balloons to company standards
- Communicate events effectively with clients and store team members
- Complete administrative tasks such as emails, phone calls, and paperwork
- Adjust plans based on client feedback and develop backup plans
- Ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards before and after events
- Help customers shop, locate products, and provide assistance
- Ensure a fast and friendly checkout experience
- Promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
- Educate customers on Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
- Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS) processes
- Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and merchandising
- Maintain merchandise recovery and store cleanliness
- Support shrink and safety programs
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies
- Interact respectfully with guests and team members
- Cross train in custom framing selling and production
- Participate in daily store cleanliness duties including sweeping and vacuuming
- Perform other duties as assigned
