Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience working with children and children’s events
  • retail and/or customer service experience required
  • excellent people skills
  • good communication skills including written, verbal, nonverbal, and listening

  • ability to lift and carry heavy boxes

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children's birthday parties and craft classes
  • engage with clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
  • demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and activities such as face painting
  • facilitate and implement party add-ons like goody bags and balloons to company standards
  • communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding events
  • complete administrative tasks including answering emails, making phone calls, and paperwork
  • adjust plans based on client feedback and create emergency backup plans
  • ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
  • uphold cleanliness and safety standards by setting up, breaking down, and cleaning before and after events
  • help customers shop and locate products
  • provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments
  • educate customers on Voice of Customer surveys
  • assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes
  • participate in unloading trucks, stocking merchandise, and planogram compliance
  • complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
  • perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
  • support shrink and safety programs
  • adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
  • interact positively and respectfully with customers and team members
  • cross-trained in custom framing selling and production
  • participate in daily store cleanliness activities
