Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree in hospitality, event management, communications, business administration, or related field
  • Two years of professional experience in event coordination, hospitality, customer service, or office administration with demonstrated experience in bookkeeping or financial transaction processing
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to greet and assist guests in person, over the phone, and through electronic communications
  • Background check
  • Credit check

  • Two years of professional experience in event coordination, hospitality, customer service, or office administration
  • Demonstrated experience in bookkeeping or financial transaction processing
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to greet and assist guests in person, by phone, and electronically
  • Experience working in university or conference/event center settings preferred
  • Familiarity with enterprise-level financial or scheduling systems like SAP, EMS, or Cvent preferred
  • Working knowledge of audiovisual equipment setup and troubleshooting preferred

Job Duties

  • Serve as primary contact for clients throughout the event process
  • Oversee the reception area and support event logistics coordination
  • Coordinate room setups, catering, audiovisual needs, and rental equipment
  • Conduct client site tours and provide expert event guidance
  • Prepare and manage contracts, process deposits, and handle billing and invoicing
  • Maintain accurate event records and generate detailed reports
  • Communicate setup requirements and collaborate with facility staff and external vendors
