Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3+ years experience in private events, wedding coordination, food and beverage hospitality, or related professional area preferred
- operational knowledge and experience in event logistics

- experience with Triple Seat or similar event software preferred

Job Duties
- Work with Catering Sales Manager to understand all client/event needs prior to function execution
- communicate with existing clients leading up to event day including final menu suggestions, floorplan, and potential rentals
- give clients venue tours for final event setup, create floor plan for operations team, assist client catering menu selections questions, schedule tastings if necessary
- lead weekly BEO meetings with FOH and BOH team
- update BEO as needed and communicate changes to the appropriate team
- perform administrative functions for events including coordinating outside vendors, ensuring payments are received on time, assisting Catering Sales Manager with client communications after the event is confirmed
- adhere to and reinforce all standards, policies, and procedures
- manage departmental inventories and maintain equipment, inspect banquet areas for damages and needed repairs prior to events
- define systems to inspect areas following events for possible damages
- oversee banquet beverage records to control beverage costs and manage the banquet beverage perpetual inventory
- schedule banquet setup and service staff to maintain service standards, while maximizing profits
- assist team in developing lasting relationships with groups to retain business and increase growth
- emphasize guest satisfaction during all departmental meetings and focus on continuous improvement
- apply knowledge of all laws as they relate to an event
- greet clients upon arrival and assist with load-in or other needs, acting as main contact
- communicate required floor plans, AV needs, and guest requests to shift leads and staff and assist in execution when needed
- actively participate in servicing events as needed
- set a positive example to the events team for guest relations
- interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels and adjust as needed
- strive to improve service performance
- review customer satisfaction survey results and participate in development and implementation of corrective action to address service challenges
- assist catering sales manager with sales projects including working offsite promotional events
- participate in collaborating with new ideas for event setup and execution to improve operations
