Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
  • two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • licensed to operate a motor vehicle in the United States
  • ability to work long and irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • proficiency in Outlook, MS Windows, Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint
  • strong written, verbal, and computer skills
  • flexibility and adaptability to changing situations
  • ability to stand for long periods and move around facility during events

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • knowledge of facility management principles, building operations, maintenance, and safety
  • ability to coordinate multiple simultaneous events
  • skill in responding to inquiries and complaints
  • decision-making ability in crowd management and crisis situations
  • ability to work independently under pressure
  • strong interpersonal skills to maintain effective working relationships
  • analytical skills to define problems and establish facts
  • ability to interpret technical instructions
  • organizational and prioritization skills to meet deadlines
  • effective oral and written communication skills
  • preferred experience with CAD and Adobe Illustrator

Job Duties

  • Communicate with clients to obtain necessary technical requirements and other event related information
  • accurately prepare event estimates in conjunction with contractual proposals
  • work closely with and receive guidance from event managers
  • execute all event-related paperwork promptly including post-event notes and settlements
  • inspect buildings and meeting areas for event suitability
  • ensure event equipment and setup meet contractual agreements
  • develop staffing assignment schedules for events
  • monitor performance of front of house staff including security and medical teams
  • provide clear communication to all departments regarding event requirements
  • assist in scheduling operational setups for equipment and service needs
  • monitor and supervise facility setup when necessary
  • compile and distribute event-related reports and documentation
  • coordinate with box office for technical and production requirements
  • manage preparation for upcoming events including setup and teardown
  • work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • perform additional duties as assigned
  • supervise part-time employees for contracted services including planning, directing, and performance appraisals
  • resolve complaints and problems as required
