Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in event coordination or customer service
  • ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store
  • capability to lift heavy boxes and use ladders
  • strong communication and organizational skills
  • ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • comply with federal, state, and local job requirements
  • willingness to follow company policies and procedures
  • must be able to engage respectably with customers including minors
  • must be able to perform administrative duties

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
  • engage clients by creating a fun and creative environment
  • demonstrate and instruct craft projects and perform activities like face painting
  • facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons
  • communicate event details with clients and store team members
  • complete administrative tasks like answering emails and making phone calls
  • adjust plans based on client feedback
  • create emergency backup plans
  • ensure client satisfaction
  • uphold cleanliness and safety standards
  • help customers shop and locate products
  • provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • engage customers on rewards and credit card enrollments
  • educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
  • assist with Buy Online Pickup In Store and Ship From Store processes
  • participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
  • complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
  • perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
  • support shrink and safety programs
  • adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and compliance requirements
  • interact respectfully with customers and team members
  • cross train in custom framing selling and production
  • participate in store cleanliness activities including sweeping and dusting
