Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working with children and children's events
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and reaching
  • Must have good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in retail or customer service
  • Ability to adhere to company policies and safety standards
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions or request reasonable accommodations if needed

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children's birthday parties and craft classes
  • Engage with clients of all ages by fostering a fun and creative atmosphere
  • Demonstrate and instruct participants in craft projects and activities like face painting
  • Facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons according to company standards
  • Communicate effectively with clients and store team members about event details
  • Complete administrative tasks including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
  • Adjust event plans based on client feedback and create contingency plans
  • Ensure client satisfaction and uphold company safety and cleanliness standards
  • Assist customers in shopping and provide solutions
  • Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience
  • Promote rewards programs and credit card enrollments
  • Educate customers on customer feedback surveys
  • Support omnichannel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store
  • Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram tasks
  • Perform merchandise recovery and store maintenance
  • Follow standard operating procedures and company policies
  • Maintain positive and respectful interactions with customers and team members
  • Cross-train in custom framing selling and production
  • Participate in daily store cleanliness activities
