Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in event coordination or related hospitality environment
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds
- Proficiency in computer and event management software
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure
- Willingness to learn new software platforms
- Excellent customer service orientation
Job Qualifications
- Experience of 1+ years in event coordination or related field preferably in hospitality or catering
- Proficiency in event management software including Event Temple and Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated commitment to exceptional customer service
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Capacity for learning new skills and software quickly
Job Duties
- Correspond promptly and professionally with clients including wedding couples, planners, and corporate contacts
- Use company software platforms such as Event Temple, StayNTouch, Slack, and Microsoft Office effectively
- Create Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and Run of Show (ROS) documents and ensure distribution to necessary departments
- Track event programming and food and beverage updates accurately during planning
- Assist with reconciling and posting event charges
- Attend wedding tastings and document client selections and notes
- Coordinate quotes, vendor documents, ordering, setup, and strike of outside rentals
- Direct Banquet Support team for internal rental setup and strike
- Ensure meeting spaces are set up with required materials and AV
- Communicate effectively with other departments to support event success
