Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior retail or event coordination experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and use ladders
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to engage with diverse clients including children and seniors
  • Ability to complete administrative tasks
  • Willingness to adhere to company policies and safety procedures
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • Must satisfy federal, state, and local legal work requirements

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and other craft classes or events
  • Engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
  • Demonstrate and instruct party participants in completing craft projects and perform face painting
  • Facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons
  • Communicate event details with clients and store team members
  • Complete administrative tasks including answering emails, making phone calls, and handling paperwork
  • Adjust event plans based on client feedback and create backup or emergency plans
  • Ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards by setting up and cleaning before and after events
  • Help customers shop and find products
  • Provide fast and friendly checkout
  • Engage customers about rewards programs and complete enrollments
  • Educate customers on Voice of Customer surveys
  • Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes
  • Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes
  • Maintain merchandise recovery and store cleanliness
  • Support shrink and safety programs
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
  • Interact positively and respectfully with team members and customers
  • Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
