Job Requirements

  • must possess valid Louisiana driver's license
  • must successfully pass criminal background check
  • highly motivated and self-directed
  • able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • superior communication skills
  • able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • experience in facility coordination preferred

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2-3 years experience with increasing responsibilities in facility industry
  • experience in facility coordination desirable
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • superior communication and organizational skills
  • highly motivated and able to work in fast-paced environments
  • able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • must pass a criminal background check

Job Duties

  • plan, organize, and control events within assigned facilities
  • create, distribute, and update working documents for all assigned events
  • ensure efficient communication regarding service delivery to clients
  • lead and coordinate pre-con meetings with clients
  • participate in major event meetings such as pre and post cons
  • provide special project research and fulfillment as assigned
  • actively participate in major events as needed
  • supervise staffing for assigned events
  • coordinate staffing placement with staffing department
  • coordinate outside service needs with contractors and vendors
  • manage client and facility requirements via external messaging systems
  • ensure all FF&E requirements are met for each event
  • coordinate and participate in facility inspections for event readiness
  • deliver information to event staff during briefings
  • attend events to resolve issues involving clients and patrons
  • assist with front of house arrangements
  • make immediate decisions and communicate in emergency situations
  • coordinate with departments for pre- and post-event tasks
  • maintain positive public relations with clients, patrons, and staff
  • maintain professional demeanor and attire
  • provide input during post-event discussions
  • perform other assigned duties
