Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in event coordination or customer service
  • Ability to handle physical demands including standing for long periods and lifting
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to interact positively with customers and team members
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • Must comply with all federal, state, and local legal requirements
  • Willingness to adhere to company safety and operational policies
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust plans as needed

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
  • Engage clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
  • Demonstrate and instruct completion of craft projects and perform face painting
  • Facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons
  • Communicate with clients and store team members regarding events
  • Complete administrative tasks like answering emails, making phone calls, and paperwork
  • Adjust event plans based on client feedback
  • Create backup or emergency plans as needed
  • Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
  • Uphold cleanliness and safety standards before, during, and after events
  • Help customers shop and locate products
  • Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • Promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
  • Educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
  • Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes
  • Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes
  • Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
  • Perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
  • Support shrink and safety programs
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and Company policies
  • Interact respectfully and positively with customers and team members
  • Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production
  • Participate in daily store cleanliness activities including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and restroom maintenance
