Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- retail or customer service experience
- experience working with children and children's events
- excellent communication skills including written, verbal, and listening abilities
- strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and early mornings

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children's birthday parties and craft classes
- engage with clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
- demonstrate and instruct craft projects and perform activities like face painting
- facilitate and implement party additions such as goody bags and balloons
- communicate with clients and store team members regarding event details
- complete administrative tasks including answering emails, making phone calls, and paperwork
- adjust event plans based on client feedback
- create backup plans for events
- ensure client satisfaction
- uphold cleanliness and safety standards
- assist customers with shopping and product location
- provide fast and friendly checkout experience
- promote rewards program and credit card enrollments
- educate customers on Voice of Customer surveys
- assist with omni channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store
- participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes
- complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
- support shrink and safety programs
- adhere to standard operating procedures and company policies
- interact respectfully with customers and team members
- cross train in custom framing selling and production
- participate in daily store cleanliness activities
