Job Requirements

  • Ability to remain standing for long periods

  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves with ladder or equipment
  • Must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job

  • Must have excellent communication skills including written, verbal, and listening
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • Ability to work in public retail store setting with some outdoor tasks
  • Must maintain positive and respectful attitude in difficult situations

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
  • Engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
  • Demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and activities such as face painting
  • Facilitate and implement party add-ons like goody bags and balloons
  • Communicate event details with clients and store team members
  • Complete administrative tasks including answering emails, phone calls, and paperwork
  • Adjust event plans based on client feedback to ensure satisfaction
  • Set up, break down, and clean before and after events
  • Assist customers with shopping, locating products, and providing solutions
  • Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • Promote and enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
  • Educate customers on the Voice of Customer survey
  • Support Omni channel processes including BOPIS and SFS
  • Participate in unloading trucks, stocking, and planogram execution
  • Maintain merchandise recovery and store cleanliness
  • Uphold shrink and safety program compliance
  • Adhere to company SOPs and legal requirements
  • Provide positive customer interactions and serve as a role model
  • Cross train in custom framing sales and production
  • Perform daily store cleaning activities
