Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- retail or customer service experience required
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly
- able to lift heavy boxes and use ladders
- effective communication skills
- ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
- physical ability to move throughout the store
- ability to handle stressful situations
- willingness to work in a climate-controlled public retail setting with occasional outdoor tasks
- able to comply with safety standards and standard operating procedures

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events simultaneously including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- engage with clients of all ages by fostering fun and creativity
- demonstrate and instruct craft projects and activities such as face painting
- facilitate and implement party add-ons to company standards
- communicate event details with clients and store team members
- complete administrative tasks including answering emails and making phone calls
- adjust events based on client feedback and create backup plans
- assist customers with shopping and product location
- provide fast and friendly checkout experiences
- promote Rewards program and credit card enrollments
- educate customers on Voice of Customer surveys
- support Omni channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store
- participate in merchandise unloading, stocking, and store recovery duties
- maintain adherence to safety and company policies
- remain positive and respectful while serving as a role model
- cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production
- maintain daily store cleanliness including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and restroom upkeep
