Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- retail or customer service experience required
- experience working with children and managing children’s events
- strong communication skills including verbal, written, and nonverbal communication
- ability to handle job stress and work effectively with customers and co-workers

- physical ability to stand for long periods and perform tasks involving lifting, bending, and reaching

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- engage with clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
- demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and activities such as face painting
- facilitate and implement party add-ons to company standards
- communicate event details with clients and store team members
- complete administrative tasks including answering emails and phone calls
- adjust event plans based on client feedback
- create backup or emergency plans for events
- ensure client satisfaction for all scheduled events
- uphold cleanliness and safety standards before, during, and after events
- help customers shop and locate products
- provide fast and friendly checkout experience
- promote and enroll customers in rewards programs and credit cards
- educate customers on Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
- assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS) processes
- participate in truck unloading, stocking, and merchandise planogram tasks
- perform merchandise recovery and maintenance
- assist with store in stock optimization and AD set duties
- support shrink and safety programs
- follow Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
- maintain positive and respectful interactions with customers and team members
- cross-trained in custom framing selling and production
- participate in daily store cleanliness activities including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and restroom maintenance
