Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- coursework from accredited college or university in relevant fields
- experience in event coordination or convention services
- proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- operational knowledge of event management
- customer service skills
- excellent communication in English
- flexible schedule availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays
- ability to multitask
- ability to work independently and remain flexible

- ability to establish and maintain working relationships with colleagues and clients

- experience in event coordination or convention services including convention centers, hotels, sports facilities, performing arts venues, or other multi-purpose public assembly facilities
Job Duties
- Cover front desk reception two days a week including answering phones, greeting clients, processing payments, and assisting Office Manager
- assist with guest or client questions as needed
- help office staff with filing, organizing, and other tasks assigned by Office Manager
- attend weekly staff and production meetings
- perform weekly audits of event diagrams, schedules, and resumes and provide feedback to Event Managers
- act as Manager on Duty during events as assigned, coordinating all event details including audio visual, food and beverage, security, electrical, and decorating
- interact with clients and attendees
- act as Event Manager for smaller events, creating event diagrams, resumes, and communicating event needs to staff
- gain working knowledge of Momentus CRM and CAD programs
- oversee and manage Exhibitor Services for all tradeshow events
- perform other duties as required
