Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to lift, push, and pull moderate weight
  • ability to stand for long periods and walk moderate distances
  • good communication skills
  • flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays
  • previous event planning or hotel experience preferred
  • proficiency with general computer applications

Job Qualifications

  • Previous hotel or event planning administrative experience preferred
  • proficient in general computer knowledge
  • refined verbal and written communication skills
  • strong organizational and time management abilities
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • excellent customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Assist in the planning and execution of all events
  • coordinate with Event Planning Managers and meeting/event planners
  • act as liaison between event managers and clients
  • handle and address special event needs or requests
  • resolve guest concerns related to events
  • maintain detailed knowledge of hotel meeting facilities and group dynamics
  • balance operational floor duties with administrative office tasks
