Job Duties

  • Meet with group coordinators or hosts before receptions
  • conduct introductions and ensure all preparations are agreed upon
  • read and analyze banquet orders to gather guest information
  • determine appropriate organization and timelines
  • address special banquet event arrangements
  • follow up on special banquet event preparations to ensure compliance
  • comply with all company safety policies and procedures
  • report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents or injuries
  • complete safety training and certifications
  • maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance
  • protect company property and maintain information privacy
  • support and treat co-workers with dignity and respect
  • assist the team in achieving common goals
  • meet quality assurance expectations and standards
  • move, lift, transport, push, drag, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance
  • stand, sit, or walk during extended periods or full shift
  • visually inspect information and equipment for defects
  • reach above head and below knees including bending and twisting
  • maneuver in narrow, confined, elevated, inclined, uneven, or slippery surfaces
  • ascend and descend staircases or service ramps
  • greet and recognize guests according to company standards
  • communicate clearly and professionally
  • answer phone calls using proper etiquette
  • perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors
