Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • minimum of 1 year of experience in sales support or as an event coordinator
  • effective communication skills in oral and written form
  • high level of organization and detail-oriented
  • ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • strong listening skills and problem-solving abilities
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • availability to work flexible schedule including nights and weekends to accommodate site inspections and guest needs.

Job Duties

  • Develop a comprehensive knowledge of all regional vessels and products
  • take the lead on post-contract follow-ups including passenger count adjustments and upsells
  • successfully upsell existing guests to higher-value options
  • follow City Cruises guidance on client follow-ups to present revenue generation opportunities
  • handle objections using product knowledge
  • maintain a flexible weekly schedule including nights and weekends
  • serve as a resource for the sales team including conducting site visits and greeting clients
  • serve as primary post-booking contact for clients and conduct site visits
  • be present during events acting as liaison between sales and operations
  • ensure accurate communication of product details to Food & Beverage and Operations teams
  • manage a minimum of 50 events per month and handle all cruise details
  • develop rapport with guests, gather feedback, request referrals, and encourage survey completion
  • resolve guest issues timely in cooperation with management
  • manage administrative activities including payment collection
  • answer post-booking inquiries leveraging product knowledge
  • ensure correct billing for extra services
  • document guest interactions in Salesforce and send weekly reports
  • compile reports for bi-weekly meetings.
