Job Requirements

  • Experience in event coordination hospitality or similar guest-facing role
  • Knowledge of event coordination and hotel meeting facilities
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems proactively
  • Proficiency with event management software and Microsoft Office
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in event coordination hospitality or a similar guest-facing role hotel experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Calm under pressure with a proactive and solution-focused mindset
  • Proficiency in event management software and MS Office Suite
  • Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as required
  • Warm professional and approachable demeanor
  • Attention to detail and commitment to service excellence

Job Duties

  • Serve as the on-site contact for event organizers ensuring all requirements are met and expectations exceeded
  • Oversee the setup execution and breakdown of events working closely with banquet culinary AV and housekeeping teams
  • Assist with event proposals contracts and function sheets confirming details such as menus room layouts and technical needs
  • Anticipate and respond promptly to guest needs providing personalized service throughout the event
  • Monitor event timelines troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth transitions between sessions or activities
  • Gather client feedback and support repeat business opportunities
  • Maintain accurate event records update booking systems and prepare reports as required
