Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in hotel or event coordination
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Flexibility to work required hours including weekends and evenings
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to use Salesforce FDC, Alice, and OPMS systems
  • Professional appearance and customer service focus

Job Qualifications

  • Prior hotel or event coordination experience preferred
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems independently
  • Flexibility to work varied hours including weekends
  • Detail-oriented and able to think quickly under pressure
  • Proficient with Salesforce FDC, Alice, and OPMS systems preferred
  • Professional appearance and strong guest service orientation

Job Duties

  • Act as a liaison between on-site clients, event planners, and hotel operating departments
  • Promote consistency by executing events based on banquet event orders, resumes, and group manifests
  • Coordinate logistics for exhibitor needs including delivery, electrical, and A/V requirements
  • Ensure meeting room setups and food and beverage details comply with Banquet Event Orders
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in banquet operation areas
  • Communicate effectively with front desk, engineering, and other hotel departments regarding group-related issues
  • Provide administrative support including report preparation, updating function space agendas, and creating banquet event orders
