Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of related work experience
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or place objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
  • Ability to navigate sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees and perform physical tasks like bending and twisting
  • Willingness to follow company safety and security policies
  • Maintain professional appearance
  • Complete safety training and certifications

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience required
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Strong guest service skills
  • Knowledge of banquet and catering operations preferred

Job Duties

  • Meet group coordinator/hostess prior to functions and make introductions
  • Read and analyze banquet event order to gather guest information and determine proper setup and timeline
  • Respond to and fulfill special banquet event arrangements
  • Follow all company and safety policies and report unsafe conditions
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards and address service needs
  • Speak clearly and professionally and answer telephones with proper etiquette
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and visually verify information and tools and equipment
  • Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, and moving through confined or uneven spaces
