Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to read and write English fluently
  • basic computer and POS system knowledge
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work indoors in a moderate noise environment
  • capable of handling cleaning chemicals safely
  • able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • available to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • ability to write simple correspondence
  • ability to speak English fluently
  • ability to interpret and perform basic computer and POS system functions
  • previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred

Job Duties

  • Handles all guest interactions with hospitality and professionalism
  • resolves customer complaints and assists with inquiries regarding hotel services and events
  • responds to guest requests timely and accurately with local recommendations
  • processes packages, faxes, messages, and mail
  • maintains updated collateral for restaurants, museums, and attractions
  • acts as a resource for city activities providing information, ticketing, and reservations
  • communicates effectively with other departments to meet guest expectations
  • assists with Bell Desk, Business Center, and lobby coverage duties
  • ensures smooth handling of guest luggage and deliveries
  • performs assigned duties with accuracy and thoroughness
  • monitors work quality
  • provides high-quality service to clients
  • meets productivity standards
  • seeks and offers assistance
  • makes decisions including appropriate personnel
  • takes responsibility for own actions
  • works independently and reliably
