Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to follow company safety and security policies

Job Duties

  • Meet group coordinator/host prior to functions, make introductions, and ensure that all arrangements are agreeable
  • Read and analyze banquet event order to gather guest information and determine proper setup, timeline, and special needs
  • Respond to and try to fulfill any special banquet event arrangements
  • Follow up on special banquet event arrangements to ensure compliance
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
  • Anticipate and address guests' service needs
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
