Job Duties
- Meet with group coordinators or hosts before reception
- make introductions and ensure all arrangements are agreed upon
- read and analyze banquet orders to gather guest information
- determine proper organization and timing
- address specific guest needs
- manage buffets and food stations
- attend to and attempt to fulfill all special banquet preparations
- monitor special banquet arrangements to ensure compliance
- comply with all company safety policies and procedures
- report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
- complete safety training and certifications
- maintain professional uniform and personal appearance
- protect company property and maintain confidentiality
- support coworkers and treat them with dignity and respect
- assist team to achieve common goals
- meet quality assurance standards
- move, lift, transport, push, pull, or place items under 25 pounds unaided
- stand, sit, or walk for extended periods during shifts
- read and visually verify information in various formats
- inspect tools and equipment for defects
- reach overhead and below knees
- bend, twist, pull, and lean
- move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
- navigate uneven, slippery surfaces and stairways
- greet and recognize guests per company standards
- communicate clearly and professionally
- answer phone calls using appropriate etiquette
- perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
