Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- culinary arts degree or advanced certification preferred
- six years of experience in hospitality industry
- skilled in culinary and production techniques for off-site events
- ability to obtain Certified Food Service Manager certification within 90 days
- proficiency in English reading, writing, and speaking
- capacity to stand, walk, sit for extended periods
- ability to lift and move up to 60 lbs
- able to work in extreme weather and wet conditions
- availability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- culinary arts degree or advanced certification preferred
- minimum six years of hospitality experience, preferably in catering or hotel food service
- strong culinary and food production skills
- ability to complete Certified Food Service Manager certification within 90 days preferred
- proficiency in English
- excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- strong leadership and team management skills
- thorough knowledge of food safety practices
- commitment to quality and service standards

Job Duties
- Arrive ready and comply with dress code
- check in with event supervisor for event details
- lead kitchen team and assign tasks
- conduct pre-shift meetings and review menu and service flow
- direct kitchen setup and organize supplies
- supervise food production ensuring quality and consistency
- coordinate plating and service timing with event supervisor
- ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- oversee kitchen cleanup and proper storage of leftovers
- enforce standard operating procedures and provide staff coaching
- manage staffing levels and budget adherence
- monitor timing and attendance of kitchen staff
- complete event documentation and performance notes
- support production kitchen operations as needed
- participate in hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- attend department meetings and site visits for event planning
- perform additional tasks as assigned for event success
