  • Ability to coordinate interdepartmentally with service staff, event planners, and rental providers
  • Food safety certification or knowledge of food handling, storage, and transport safety
  • Customer-focused mindset prioritizing food quality and guest satisfaction
  • Skills in visual food presentation for formal or casual events
  • Experience maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in temporary or mobile setups
  • Proficiency with portable cooking and warming equipment
  • Capacity to assess and adapt to various venue kitchen limitations
  • Experience in batch cooking and portion control for large quantity productions

Job Duties

  • Accurately prepare food items following company recipes and standard procedures
  • Consistently execute menu items in the catering kitchen with attention to quality and presentation
  • Uphold high standards of personal hygiene and professionalism at all times
  • Contribute to menu development by suggesting new items and improving existing recipes
  • Maintain a clean, organized workstation and ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies
  • Prepare and plate food for events efficiently, even in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
  • Apply proper cooking, cooling, and food handling techniques in compliance with Health Department regulations
