Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 2 years of experience in event planning or hospitality services
- proven track record of managing and leading event staff
- experience coordinating with vendors and suppliers
- strong leadership and team management skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to multitask and manage multiple events
- strong problem-solving skills
- proficiency in event management software
- flexibility to work irregular hours including evenings and weekends

Job Duties
- Review banquet event orders and confirm assignments with banquet manager
- post daily banquet event orders, assign staff to event areas, verify room setup and layout
- coordinate with management and culinary team to review head counts, dietary needs, menu details, timing, and special instructions
- inspect function rooms to ensure cleanliness and compliance with specifications
- hold pre-function meetings with staff to review details and service standards
- ensure rooms are prepared at least 15 minutes prior to event start
- greet event contact and review event details during the event
- supervise service staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
- communicate with culinary team for timely presentation of courses
- monitor event flow, service quality, and guest interactions throughout the event
- verify and complete guest billing and beverage consumption reports after the event
- assign cleanup and reset duties to service team
- document rental inventory counts and condition
- complete captain's report and billing documentation for audit
- secure alcoholic beverages and return department keys
- arrive on time in proper uniform
- train and mentor new banquet staff
- comply with hotel safety, fire, and security procedures
- support sustainability and recycling initiatives
- perform other duties as assigned by management
- retrieve and verify cash bank for cash bar
- issue cash and drink tickets, reconcile at event conclusion
- collect and verify used drink tickets and sales
- prepare deposits according to hotel policy
- complete required spreadsheets and return bank to safe
