  • previous experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge
  • ability to write and verbally communicate
  • positive attitude and energy
  • ability to print legibly
  • ability to kneel, bend, stand for extended periods
  • ability to move quickly
  • ability to push and lift up to 50 lbs
  • work in noisy and crowded environments
  • availability to work irregular hours and shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • exposure to cleaning materials and hot kitchen elements
  • maintain professional appearance

  • ability to maintain confidentiality

Job Duties

  • Assists floor and cocktail servers in steps of guest service
  • interacts with dining room/lounge guests, team members, and supervisors politely and courteously
  • anticipates and accommodates guest needs
  • maintains the cleanliness and orderliness of tables
  • communicates guests' needs to front-of-house and heart-of-house staff
  • delivers, fills, and refills water as requested
  • clears and resets tables and cleans table areas during service
  • ensures guest satisfaction through active participation
  • maintains cleanliness of stations and entire venue
  • complies with health and sanitation standards
  • properly sets up floor and side stations
  • performs opening and closing side-work
  • participates in marking tables for upcoming courses
  • reports breakage and damage to management
  • attends pre-service meetings and training sessions
  • learns by observing and sharing knowledge
  • portrays a positive and professional attitude
  • demonstrates knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality and its partners
  • works as part of a team and provides help to team members
  • completes additional tasks as assigned
