Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1+ years of bartending experience
  • Must be TIPs/TEAM certified or willing to obtain training
  • Knowledge of upscale/VIP service styles required
  • Must pass a background check
  • Availability to work all UGA home football games
  • Live within 25 miles of UGA campus preferred

  • Knowledge of upscale/VIP service styles required
  • Must be hardworking and organized
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work alone and as a team
  • Strong attention to detail and adaptability

Job Duties

  • Responsible for both pre and post bar set-up/breakdown responsibilities
  • Sets bar up in a timely manner including icing down product
  • Communicates well with bar back personnel during the event to assist with replenishment during shift
  • Greets all guests and gives exceptional customer service
  • Attentive to guests needs throughout the entire event
  • Cleans bar after closing and discards excess ice
  • Records closing inventory
  • Responsible for putting away all inventory as directed
  • Follows all federal, local, and venue alcohol policies
