Job Requirements
- Must have two years of professional beverage experience
- Previous bartending experience required
- Experience working in high-volume hospitality environments
- Ability to write and verbally communicate effectively
- Must maintain a positive energy throughout the day
- Ability to print legibly
- Ability to kneel, bend, stand for extended periods, and move quickly
- Ability to push and lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work irregular, extended, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
- Ability to work in noisy and crowded environments
- Must maintain professional appearance standards
- Effectiveness as part of a team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to handle fast-paced and stressful work environments
Job Qualifications
- Two years of professional beverage experience
- Previous bartending experience
- Experience in high-volume restaurant, nightclub, or lounge settings
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Knowledge of alcohol awareness and state regulations
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Capability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Good physical stamina to meet job demands
- Ability to handle fast-paced and stressful environments
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Maintain professional appearance standards as directed
- Anticipate and accommodate all needs of the guests
- Provide professional and exceptional service in a timely fashion
- Understand and properly execute all event formats
- Review and understand all aspects of the Banquet Event Order (BEO)
- Knowledge of all allergies and dietary restrictions
- Accurately enter all orders into the POS system and follow payment procedures
- Ensure delivery of all food and beverage to guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas
- Follow supervisor’s instructions and support co-workers
- Possess in-depth knowledge of food and beverage, venue and company
- Serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with regulations and company standards
- Comply with Department of Health and sanitation standards
- Communicate guest needs to banquet and kitchen staff
- Set up and break down bar and event stations following procedures
- Complete end-of-shift financial procedures accurately
- Report any breakage or damage immediately
- Attend pre-service meetings and training sessions
- Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude
- Work cohesively as part of a team providing support to others
