Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years experience in bar or event management
- Valid certification in responsible alcohol service
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple events without scheduling conflicts
- Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Knowledge of local and state alcohol laws and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in bar/event management or a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Certified in responsible alcohol service such as TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software
- Knowledge of a wide range of beverages and mixology
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Job Duties
- Manage all aspects of bar operations at the designated venue including staff
- Ensure bars are adequately stocked and prepared for each event
- Maintain high standards of beverage quality and presentation
- Monitor beverage stock levels and order supplies as needed
- Implement inventory tracking systems to reduce waste and prevent theft
- Manage cash handling procedures and reconcile sales
- Prepare sales reports and assist with budgeting
- Ensure adherence to all local and state alcohol service laws
- Enforce health and safety guidelines within bar operations
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any service-related issues
- Work with event coordinators to align bar services with event themes
- Participate in planning meetings as needed
- Available to work at other events when not required at the primary venue
- Adapt to varying event requirements and locations
